The sounds of letters change at times depending on the preceding or following letters. For example, “c” sounds like “s” when it is followed by an “i” or “e”. Typically, the “c” is a “k” sound if it is followed by “u”, “o” or “a”.
Words that begin with a single “R” have the rolled “rr” sound. For example, “razon” sounds like “rrazon”.
