Cardinal numbers in Hindi as well as in English are digits like 1, 2, 3, 4 … There are two ways of writing the numbers in Hindi, in Arabic numerals (1, 2, 3) or in Hindi script (एक, द, ती).

Ordinal numbers in Hindi as well as in English are used to determine a position or a rank, for example: first, second, third.
